I have had Rice Chex with fresh strawberries for dinner the past three nights. Delicious. Cereal is the one thing I can keep down so I think it is safe to say that I am doing my part to keep Kellogg’s, General Mills, and Post in business during this bum economy.

Strawberry shortcake was the perfect treat to celebrate Meredith and Harry’s arrival last night. A quick 10 minute preparation, the dish consists of cubed pound cake, sliced fresh strawberries, and homemade whipped cream. Three simple ingredients that equal pure deliciousness.
