I am impatient, bossy, and competitive. My blood runs orange. Not being I have a condition but because I am a proud Clemson University graduate who looks back fondly at my four years spent in the rolling foothills of South Carolina. While there, I fell in love with an ROTC cadet, married him, and continue fall in love with him a little bit more each day. I am the oldest of four. I prefer warm tones to cool tones. I happen to like both the beach and mountains and everywhere else in between. I love red shoes. I am always early. I am self-conscious. I am confident. Most of the time. Sometimes.
My siblings and I circa 1990. I always hated that couch.
This is my husband, circa 2007. He is cold and 6,000 miles from home in this picture. But he is also smiling. His ability to make the best of any situation is one of the top reasons I think he is the cat’s pajamas. He is also quite charming and funny. Beautiful, isn’t it?
We were married December 2004. We had a good time at our wedding.
This is our dog Lucy and our cat Desi. We welcomed them into our lives August 2005.
And finally, our son was born October 2009.
The five of us are just trying to live simply while enjoying each and every moment we have together. The Army lifestyle can be crazy at times but it has taught us to cherish the time we have together and focus on the positive aspects each experience has to offer. Welcome to my life. :)
